Where it all began
Our journey began with a vision to foster communication, creativity, connection, and confidence through the performing arts. Founded by Siobhan Fanning, a professionally trained actress, singer, and drama teacher, with a master's degree in Acting Musical Theatre & Voice from the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, London, and a postgraduate degree in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Siobhan started her career as a child actor in London’s West End production of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Over the next 20 years she continued her West End career in productions such as, We Will Rock You, My Fairy Lady, 1916 and Rip Her to Shreds before expanding into Television and Film appearing in Eastenders, Brass Eye, Casualty and many more.
Siobhan’s passion for performing arts extended beyond the stage and saw a return to her roots at Stagecoach London, where she began helping young performers such as Emma Watson, Poppy Gilbert, singer/songwriter Sobi, Ashley Gayle and many more, hone their craft, prepare them for the professional stage, and who are now enjoying successful entertainment careers.

Show Squad is the culmination of Siobhan’s two decades of experience and has evolved into a hub of artistic expression and personal development for all.
Show Squad is comprised of a team of professional performers who are equally passionate about teaching. Every member of staff brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for the performing arts. But Show Squad isn't just for budding performers; it's a place where individuals of all ages can hone valuable skills like cultural awareness, creativity, teamwork, and effective communication. Most importantly, it's a place where confidence flourishes.

How we're growing
Show Squad has expanded to now offer classes in RAK Academy, WellSprings Private School RAK, St Mary’s RAK, and Ajman Academy; all of our classes, regardless of location, are open to the the public, both children and adults.
We have developed a partnership with American University Ras Al Khaimah’s Mass Communication department providing work experience and opportunities for their students and expanding our relationship to include CPD development.

The Shows
Our commitment extends beyond the classroom, as Show Squad proudly produces local community theatre performances open to adults and children, providing a safe and fun space to explore their creative side, develop confidence and form new connections and friendships, whilst Introducing accessible live theatre and providing much needed lighthearted family entertainment!
Show Squad produced its first Community Theatre production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Ras Al Khaimah. The cast and crew comprised of local adults and children, providing the perfect way to celebrate post-pandemic.

The Show Must Go On
Show Squad produced Follow the Yellow Brick Road, the Musical and Cinderella Pantomime as part of our ongoing Community Theatre Series. Each show continues to grow our theatre community in the region, with more and more local adults and children participating and developing their acting and production chops.
